Way back at the beginning of 2007 I posted a minimalist comment expressing some incredulity that a company - D-Wave - had been founded to develop and sell quantum computers. I've now just seen that they have sold one to Lockheed Martin for undisclosed purposes.
So when can we expect a quantum computing service in the cloud (a.k.a. QaaS)?
